The residence without lucrative activity (passive residence) can be requested by those who want to reside in Andorra without exercising any economic activity.
Requirements for residence without lucrative activity (passive residence)
- Stay in Andorra at least 90 days per calendar year
- Invest at least € 350,000 in:
a) Real estate located in Andorra
b) Participations in share capital or in Andorran companies’ own funds
c) Debt or finance instruments issued by Andorran entities
d) Debt instruments issued by any Andorran Public Administration
e) Life insurance products contracted with Andorran entities
d) Deposit in the Andorran Financial Authority - Make a € 50,000 deposit in the Andorran Financial Authority (which will be returned upon ceasing to reside in the country). In addition, for each dependant person who acquires the status of resident without lucrative activity, the holder must deposit an additional € 10,000
